Doll Sanctuary is an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of fashion. It focuses on small and medium scale entrepreneurs who sell on a small volume, with the majority using blogs as the main medium to show their items.

About: Sometime ago, in an abandoned attic, Dolly wanted to shop for clothes. But oh boy, how hard it was! Shopping sometimes took ages and ages, and Dolly knew that she had to save herself and all her friends around the world to make shopping easier for everyone. And so, Doll Sanctuary is born.

What is Doll Sanctuary?
Doll Sanctuary compiles all the items from online boutiques from around Malaysia and Singapore (and hopefully, the world) and makes it easier for shoppers to find items they like. Want to find a skirt? They’ve organised them for you. Want to find a top? Easy.

All you need to do is just click on the images that represent the items that you’re looking for (tops, skirts, shoes, jackets and more) and you’ll be redirected to the blogshops/ e-shops that sell them. Easy peasy!

What’s different about Doll Sanctuary? It doesn’t include big retailers, so there is a healthy chunk of variety from many types of sellers – and you get cheap prices too. Items on this site are categorised according to their respective categories to make shopping easier, and sellers can upload an unlimited number of products to the site.

Basically, it’s an indie marketplace for fashion, with a healthy dose of punk, sweet, industrial, Goth, urban – whatever – you are your own, so you get to dictate what you want to sell and what you want to buy. So in essence, while some like it mainstream (such as those who favour companies like Shop Style and Net-A-Porter), why can’t indie lovers have their fun too?
