Reclaimed Wreckage: Unique Recycled Accessories
The maker of this handmade Etsy shop loves to make unwanted materials, wanted. She thrives on the creativity it takes to put a new spin on recycling to make materials even better than their original purpose. When she comes across her supplies they literally are “wreckage” before she turn them to conversation-starting, functional pieces.
It’s inspiring to create unique, functional pieces from otherwise discarded materials.
A little bit about the maker: she is naturally a very clumsy person, tripping and stubbing her toes on a regular basis… but she kind of likes that aspect of herself since a little minor public humiliation every once in a while can only build character. She has severe latte addictions for a while now and have tried to replace them with everything from tea to hot chocolate to hot water, but nothing can satisfy the craving of a good vanilla latte on a rough day. She has been dying her hair since she was in fifth grade and she’s not sure what her natural hair is…

I wanted to share to my readers a great upcoming SAMPLE SALE from Melie Bianco!
The sale will take place at their warehouse (in the parking lot, under the big canopies). They will be selling one of a kind samples, best sellers in never before seen colors, and super duper discounted items which were photographed for magazines or used in films. They have a decent amount of parking, but on behalf of the environment they ask you to carpool whenever possible.
A lot of these styles are one of a kind and once they are gone that is all. Their recommendation? Don’t hesitate, if you like a style buy it (or someone else will) and plan to stick around awhile as inventory will be refreshed frequently throughout the day! Also, what better way to cross your favorite ladies off of your holiday list?

BATWA was started by a lone woman with a desire to create intermingled with an obsession with purses. An array of exotic fabrics from India, and her “obsession” with handbags inspired the name BATWA which unlike the pygmy people of Central Africa, THIS batwa means little purses, pouches, bag, you get the picture!
All of Batwa’s wallets, zippered pouches, and checkbook covers are handcrafted in limited editions and many are one of a kind.
