My Top 5 Favorite Anime

Continuing on my TOP 5 series, here is my top 5 favorite anime/manga/animation!
1.) Dragon Ball and DBZ

I adore this series! Although DB GT was one big disappointment and an epic fail, it does not take away from the pure joy that it Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. The reason this is my favorite anime is the characters. Each character has a charm to them, and each has memorable moments that make me respect them as a character and person. I love the messages in these series–strength, forgiveness, acceptance, family, friends, etc.
* Favorite Characters: Vegeta + Goku
* Least Fav Characters: Pan + Videl (hate them both…)
* Favorite Villains: Frieza + Ginyu Force
* Least Fav Villain: Doctor Gero
* Favorite Pairing/Shipping: Vegeta/Bulma, Goku/ChiChi, and Vegeta/Goku (hehe…)
*Least Fav Pairing/Shipping: Gohan/Videl *yawn*
* Favorite Scenes: (1) Vegeta shot in the chest by Frieza, and begged Goku to kill Frieza for the sake of their people. I literally got chills at this scene. (2) Vegeta sacrificing himself to take down Buu. I loved it when he held Trunks and told his son that he was proud. I really wish they saved this scene at the end because it would have been the best ending to the series.
2.) Fruits Basket
Cute on the outside, but deep and emotional in the inside. This is what defines this anime/manga. I much prefer the manga in this series because you go more deep into each character. What I love about this series is the emotional ride I had throughout the story–I went from laughing my ass off to crying. I felt hatred towards some characters, and then suddenly have a 180 and begin to sympathize. Only this series could make me feel so much sadness and hope.
* Favorite Characters: Ayame + Shigure
* Least Fav Characters: Akito + Hiro
* Favorite Pairing/Shipping: Shigure/Akito (in the manga)
*Least Fav Pairing/Shipping: Tohru/Yuki/Kyo (I always felt that Tohru should just be friends with those two)
* Favorite Scenes: When Kyo’s real form was revealed, I thought it was beautiful that Tohru accepted him despite his grotesque form. It is easy to love perfection, but it takes a real love to look beyond an ugly form and see the beauty in the inside.
3.) Avatar: The Last Airbender
I know, this is not considered “anime”. This series was created outside of Japan, therefore it is considered animation, but not anime. BUT I DON’T CARE! I love this series so much! It is a fun adventure with some memorable characters. I find some of the main characters to be annoying, so this is not my favorite animation series, but the overall story is great. Too bad this awesome groundbreaking series was ruined by the live-action epic fail that came out recently. So depressing…
* Favorite Characters: Zuko + Azula
* Least Fav Characters: Toph, Suki, “Combustion Man,” and those annoying singing nomads in the love cave. I have more characters I dislike, but that will take forever.
* Favorite Villain: Azula
* Least Fav Villain: Ozai (not a memorable villain, therefore the ending was unsatisfying)
* Favorite Pairing/Shipping: Katara/Zuko
*Least Fav Pairing/Shipping: Aang/Katara *yawn*
* Favorite Scenes: I loved it when the Zuko, Azula, Mai , and Ty Lee went to a fire nation party. So funny and awkward!
4.) Ranma ½

This is another series where I prefer to read the manga. I tend to find the voice actors to be annoying and overall exaggerated. Despite this, the manga is great! The only problem with this series is that it has no plot outside of several love triangles. Like Rumiko Takahashi other works, Ranma ½ takes forever to end–to a point where you are glad that it is finally over. Ignoring all this, the story is cute and fun!
* Favorite Characters: Ranma + Ryoga
* Least Fav Characters: Principal Kuno (annoying and needs to just die)
* Favorite Pairing/Shipping: Ranma/Akane (their cute moments are sooo cute!)
*Least Fav Pairing/Shipping: None. Everybody is okay.
* Favorite Scenes: Ranma’s in his Cat Fu trance and Akane tries to bring him back by letting him curl up in her lap. She starts to get a little embarrassed because everyone from the school is watching, and then Ranma rubs his nose with hers (like a cat), and everyone thinks that he has just kissed her. This was so adorable!!
5.) Miyazaki films

I am actually not a huge fan of anime, so I have chosen all of Miyazaki films as my fifth favorite. I think Miyazaki is a genius storyteller and animator. I love almost all his movies~
* Favorite Characters: Howl in Howl’s Moving Castle
* Least Fav Characters: Sophie’s mom in Howl’s Moving Castle
* Favorite Villain: Yubaba in Spirited Away
* Favorite Pairing/Shipping: Chihiro/Haku in Spirited Away
*Least Fav Pairing/Shipping: Ponyo/Sosuke in Ponyo
* Favorite Scenes: In My Neighbor Totoro, I loved it when the youngest sister first found the Totoro in the nest area, and they both took a nap. It was cute and memorable~

My Top Five Glee Songs

Since the new season of Glee is starting soon, I decided to post my Top 5 Glee Songs of the first season!
1.) Defying Gravity (Lea Michele Solo)
I love the message in this song, so it is definitely my favorite song in the Glee soundtrack. I feel like this song is the story of my life at this moment. Lea Michele is not my favorite glee cast member, and I wish the writers would give more parts to the others, but she does have a great safe voice that sounds fantastic every time she sings a cover~
1.) I Say a Little Prayer
For some odd reason, I am addicted to this song. It is so cute and fun to listen to, and the cheerios are my favorite characters in the show. I especially love the beginning when they sing, “Before I put on my makeup. Makeup!“~
3.) I Dreamed A Dream (featuring Idina Menzel)
This is the most depressing and greatest song I have ever heard when it comes to lyrics. This song is definitely the story of my life. You have this dream when you are a kid, and life has a way of making sure the dream is crushed and beaten…
4.) Beth
Once again, there really is no good reason why I love this cover. I just like the sound of it. Puck definitely needs to get more parts!
5.) True Colors
Asian girl ftw! haha, that isn’t the reason why I love this song. I like this because it’s a cute feel-good song. It reminds me of a Disney song.
I pretty much love every song that Glee covers. These are just notable ones that I constantly click replay on my ipod.

My Top Five Youtube Channels

Hello readers! I wanted to share my favorite youtube channels.
I am addicted to youtube! I love to browse different channels in my free time, and once in a while, I come across a channel that special. These youtubers continue to amaze me, and I make me yen for their videos in my subscription section. So here goes…
1.) YT Username: MelinaPendulum
I absolutely love this girl. Melina is an incredibly bright, insightful vlogger. Her delivery is relaxed, yet sensible enough without sounding pretentious. I first came across her video where she was critical of the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer. I was intrigued by Melina’s critical eye; her understanding of literature is beyond her young age.
2.) YT Username: TheYoungTurks
TYT Nation is too strong! haha (viewers would understand this Cenk quote). TYT is a political talk show that covers politics, entertainment, sports, and pop culture. I came across this channel during the 2008 presidential election, and I have been addicted ever since. The main host, Cenk Uygur, is sharp in his political commentary, yet highly amusing during his pop culture third hour with co-host Ana Kasparian. Should you subscribe to them? Of Cooooouurse!
3.) YT Username: simonandmartina
Simon and Martina are a young Canadian married couple teaching English in Bucheon, South Korea. I have never been to Korea, so I checked on youtube to see what life was like in my ancestor’s homeland. This is when I found Simon and Martina’s channel! They show what everyday life is like when living in Korea. These two are so fun and cute ♥
4.) YT Username: spillcom
I watch a lot of movie review on youtube, and out of all those youtubers who review films, spillcom is the best! Spill’s reviews are high-quality animated videos with five regular cast. Watching their videos, you can tell that these five are smart movie critics who know their stuff, but what makes them great is their laid-back personalities. They have a hilariously unique rating system, and their playful banter with each other makes you feel like they are your friends hanging out on a Saturday night.
5.) YT Username: babiixj
There are plenty of great undiscovered musicians out there, so I will put a spotlight on one channel that deserves more subscribers. Although babiixj is not the best vocal on youtube, she has an adorable voice and she even rewrites korean songs into english!

I recently did a post on my Top 5 Favorite FEMALE Models, so I decided to make a post about my Top 5 Favorite MALE models!

1.) BOYD HOLBROOK. I first found out about Boyd when I was going through my Harry Potter fandom phase. A lot of people made icons of him because he resembled the actor Tom Felton (playing Draco Malfoy)! Every since, I fell in imaginary love~ He is gorgeous and unique. He is one of the top and well-known male models in the industry, appearing in Gucci, Hugo Boss, and Calvin Klein. Boyd was chosen as one of Dior Homme’s most celebrated male models!
2.) LEE SOO HYUK. I recently made a post featuring this beautiful Korean male model! I loved SooHyuk Oppa since he featured in this Corpse Bride inspired photoshoot with his famous girlfriend, Kim Min Hee. He is one of the most famous male models in South Korea, and he is friends with top kpop idols like G-Dragon from Big Bang. I love his unique and melancholy face. He has a sad feminine face; it makes me go “awwwwww“!~
3.) LEE JUN KI. Okay…everyone knows him as a famous actor and singer NOW, but what you might not know is that he started off as a model. Everyone knows I loved him since the movie King and the Clown!~ He has a feminine face with a masculine personality (my favorite combo! LOL). I love him, and he is my husband in my mind 
4.) ASH STYMEST. You can see that I have a thing for skinny pretty models! hehe. Tattoos are a total turnoff for me, but the ones on Ash work! I don’t find him attractive or my ideal type at all, but I love his pictures. Ash is a young British model who is becoming quite popular in the fashion circles. In almost every top fashion list, Stymest has a bad boy charm that I find cute
5.) KIM HYUN JOONG. Okay…he is not a model, but actually a singer/actor…I don’t follow male models as much as female ones, so I can’t think of anyone else. I’ve been browsing around to see if I would like any, but a lot of male models are…BLAH. They are so boring and typical; they all pretty much have the same look. SO, I decided to just post Hyun Joong here! YAY! He is so gorgeous that he can pull off being a model too!~!

[Fashion] My Top 5 Fav Models

1.) Daria Werbowy. I honestly do not know why I love Daria so much. Yes, she is beautiful. Yes, she is enchanting in the runway. But it’s more than that. Beautiful girls are always in fashion, so what makes me like this one the most? I’m still trying to figure it out…but until then, Daria has and always have been my favorite model. She is Ukrainian Canadian model who has worked with Lancome, Prada, Chanel, and many more. She is the only model who has a place in my bedroom wall! I have slightly a girl crush on her (but an innocent girl crush! lol). I love Daria and she will always be my number one favorite model!~
2.) Tyra Banks. Tyra Tyra Tyra~ LOL Love her or hate her, Tyra is one of the smartest models out there. She became a model to a TV host and now has her own empire. I have to admit, she is not my favorite model when it comes to her modeling days, but I love her personality! I love her talk show, and girl just knows how to have fun! “Tyra is my goddess”~
3.) Chanel Iman. ”Who?” – that is the response I get a lot when I mention Chanel Iman. I first saw her in the last Victoria Secret runaway show, and she is the only girl who took my breath away. Her beauty is by far one of the top in the modeling world. As a girl of mixed racial heritage (half african american, half korean), Chanel Iman is so stunning. Her aura in the runway turns heads, and makes everyone who see her wanting to know more.
4.) Sasha Pivovarova. I love her because she is crazy and looks kind-of like she is on drugs all the time.
5.) Lara Stone. I love unique looking models, and Lara Stone is definitely special! Her tough masculine face is refreshing in the fem world of fashion. Her trademarks include the gap between her front teeth and her wobbly runway walk, which can be attributed to her size 7 feet, smaller than the regular runway shoe. I loved her the instant I saw her, and so did a lot of people; Stone was in the cover of W magazine, who declared her the most wanted face in the moment!
